http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIETHlaK2Fs&feature=related James Berry, a university student performing at his graduate recital. I love how he's so sensitive in the second movement. And there's still a sense of direction. Okay I should stop thinking of sensitivity and direction as two separate spheres. Gestural playing ftw! The music should have to breathe and sound improvised such that we're clinging on to every single note, and anticipating every next one. It's the X-factor!

I'll have a little less than three weeks to learn the Italian Concerto! Which means I have to get all the notes down by this wednesday.

My LTCL recital was screwed. I was nervous, which actually isn't something very unusual. Until I totally pwned myself the day after for my school practical exam. Which means there is hope for my tormented soul!

In any case, I shall want to organize recitals in school at which MEPPERS can perform, just for the experience. I'm sure a few J2s would want to, what with CTs over etc.

Okay I really have to plan out my schedule for the next 2.5 weeks (and STICK TO IT). Kirishima is a DEADLINE. And I want to go there and have fun, without being too worried about my academics. Then I can get to meet hot japanese boys and girls yay.
